The club was formed in 1995 to play friendly matches in order to raise funds for
a team of volunteers to go to Kenya and help street children. It subsequently assisted
in raising funds for three such trips in 1996, 2000 and 2004. The football club played
continuous friendlies for 10 years when it had developed into a competitive and competent
team . An F.A affiliated league was formed in 2005 known as the RDCF League. Escape
FC finished in the top 4 teams of Division 1 for the past 3 seasons, won the league
